Length- 23 1/2 in. (75%)
Head- 16 in. (90%)

Month 5

He was talking to Nanna like crazy yesterday as he dragged out his cooing for a really long time. Too cute. I tried to capture it on video, but he would not perform.
Aaron grabbed his foot today when we were outside. (Aug. 18)
Aaron is loving his lips. He loves sucking on his bottom lip and making ducky lips. He has also starting making farting noises with his lips.
What would we have done without his jumperoo? He loves it so much. He just jumps up and down while kicking his legs out like a ballet pose. We decided we will be okay if he wants to be a ballerina, but we will not steer him in that direction.

Month 6

-Rice cereal! He loves it. He figured it out the second we put the spoon toward his face. He opens his mouth nice and wide to eat the cereal. He also takes his bib in his hand and wipes his own face. Lucky us!

-Aaron is rolling over like crazy. He loves rolling over as soon as you lay him down onto his stomach. He lifts his head and shoulders up real high to look around. He is still struggling to sleep. It seems like he wakes up at 11am and 3am almost every night.

-When you hold him in your arms, he wants to lift his head backwards so he can look at the world upside down.

-When you lay him on the changing table, he loves to grab his feet. He even put his foot in his mouth.

-He has figured out rattles. He loves to take them and shake them back and forth to hear the sounds.

-He loves his jumperoo so much that when he is putting weight on his legs in your arms, he jumps like he is in the jumperoo.

-Aaron discovered a higher range of sounds in his voice and he loves rattling them off. He also like talking back and forth to anyone through his words of Ahhhhhhhhh.

Month 8 & 9

-We took Aaron on his first camping trip. He loved the hiking in the Bjorn. He got a little sunburned which I feel really bad about it. Hopefully the pink will go away soon.
-He really likes to use his hands as feet.
- He started throwing a fit when bath time is over. He looks back at the ducks and cries when we take away the last toy.

-He learned he can shake his head from side to side. He really starting changing the pitch of his voice as he says dadadada.
-He loves flipping the toys upside down and playing with the wheels.
-He enjoys sitting in the front of the grocery cart and in a high chair.
-He smiles all the time!! I have needed that after the first 4 1/2 months.
-He seemed fairly disinterested in Santa. He did not even look back up at him.

Month 10

Well you are still not crawling, but I am trying not to worry. Dad says you are like a pharoah because you prefer to be carted around and fed your grapes. You are dragging your body around everywhere with those strong arms.

You are very intruiged with spinning the knobs in the kitchen.
You love banging around the wooden spoon.
Kisses from dad make you giggle.
You light up when mom picks you up from daycare. You flap your arms back and forth like a bird. Then you give the pouty lip just to show me that you are glad that I have saved you.
-You love to throw your toys over the side of the bathtub and then get up on your knees to peer over the tub to see if you can see them again. You like to do the same with food and your sippy cup from the high chair.
-You say dadada all the time and now you are starting to say it with a whisper and even a screech.
-You waved for the first time. Ms. Streeter came over and I told you to wave at her. Then I made the comment that I felt like you should be able to do that by now. With a few seconds delay, you started waving at her. It was super cute!

Month 11

It looks as though your version of crawling will not be very traditional. You can move your arms and legs but you drag your tummy with you. Why rock on all 4s when you can just drag your tummy along.

You have started mimmicking a lot with your arms. You are banging on your high chair and raising your arms up in the air.
You are very curious about opening and closing cabinets and about what is in the kitchen cabinets.
-You are discovering new things like the ghetto blaster in the living room.
-You have started pulling up like crazy. You are even taking a few steps while pushing the lawnmower. Your legs are so stiff that it looks funny when you walk.

Month 7

-Bathtime is so much fun for Aaron now that he can sit up. He loves sucking on the bill of his rubber ducks. Kenzo also walks up to him and licks his hands while he is in the tub. We splash him with water from the cup and he giggles.

-Solid foods- He has eaten butternut squash, zucchini, yellow squash avacado, and sweet potatoes, mum-mums.
-Today at Target Aaron was waving his own hand at himself. He loved watching his fingers move up and down.
-We went out to eat and he was waving the coasters in the shadow and loving it.
-Sterling and I had to let him cry some in the middle of the night because of his frequent wakings. We decided to get the sleep sheep back out and put it between the two of us to help us sleep.
-We just went and took 6 month photos at the Arboretum. He loved eating the hay and dirt. He lunged forward to pick it up and put huge clumps in his mouth. I preferred him having the pacifier so he could just play and not eat it. He was a champ through an almost 2 hour photo session.
-He was a cute little one eyed monster for Halloween.
-He loves his wrists and his fingers.
-Eating- He is eating 5 to 6 oz. bottles.
-Clothing-He is wearing size 3 diapers and 9month clothing.
